That's Your Buddy is a cut-throat game that requires mental and visual acuity, quick reflexes, and an unwavering fondness for the homeless.

That's Your Buddy is best played during road trips or any time travelling in the car with friends.
[edit] How to Play:
Players attempt to visually locate a Buddy for each other. A Buddy is typically a person who does not appear to be someone you would normally approach with the intention of being friends with. Examples include (but are not limited to): the homeless, bikers, posers, gangsters, hippies, emo kids, and try-hards.
Once a Buddy has been spotted, the player calls out to another player: "That's your buddy!"
The Buddy must then be pointed out to the victim. That is now their buddy, and they must act as if it were true. There is no defense or reprieve from That's Your Buddy, there is only revenge. Once you are given a Buddy, the only response is to try and find a worse Buddy for the player who got you.
Playing is not always voluntary. Anyone can be given a Buddy.

- Who is eligible to be a Buddy?
- Anyone is a potential Buddy. Try to find someone truly unappealing, for maximum goading value.
- Looks aren't everything you know! What if that person is a good person inside, and you are judging them as a human being simply based on their looks?
- I'm sure they are a unique snowflake, just like the rest of us. Whatever, the game is just for fun.
- Do I have to engage my new Buddy and treat them like I know them and we are friends?
- No, you can choose to keep your friendship secret. However, this is an optional rule; hardcore players may choose to play differently.
- No way is that my Buddy. I refuse to acknowledge that person is my buddy or even look at them.
- That's not a question, dumbass. And yeah, that is your buddy. Suck it up, buttercup.

We had a corporate wilderness mountain retreat with some of the executives. We found "That's Your Buddy" to be a great wall breaker. I felt that real progress was made, and despite differences in the socio-economic standing of some of the members on the retreat, I felt that we really did become "buddies" by the end of the weekend.
