Slam Games

Founded: 2004

Slam Games is an independent game development studio based in Glasgow, Scotland. The company was formed in 2004 and is dedicated to creating original, compelling and fun games which appeal to a mass-market audience - no matter what their age, sex or level of experience.

Slam's debut title, Spinword, was a showcase game for the launch of Microsoft Windows Vista in early 2007.

Their follow-up game, Orchidia was released in mid-2007 to critical acclaim, with websites awarding it high scores for it's unique fantasy setting and use of flowers instead of the blocks, bricks or tiles.

Slam plans to release approximately 10 new casual games titles for the PC over the next several months, working with both Windows XP and Vista.

Slam is publishing it's games through it's own dedicated consumer portal Joyboost.
