Oberon Media started as a small casual games developer and is now a leading casual games solution provider with offices in New York, Seattle, San Francisco, San Mateo, Tel Aviv, London, Paris, Stockholm, Cyprus, Seoul, and Singapore. Oberon Media is focused on the following areas of business:

  • Oberon Games - A division that funds, develops, licenses, and distributes casual games across multiple platforms including PC, web-based, mobile, and console platforms and through retail channels..
  • Oberon Games Center - A white-labeled casual games content and merchandising solution for companies and brand holders. Companies that use the Oberon Games Center include MSN Games, Pogo, Blue Mountain, Playboy, France Telcom, and Daum (Korea).
  • Advertising - Through their white-labeled sites, Oberon offers an advertising vehicle for brands looking to reach the casual gaming demographic.
  • Mobile Solutions - Through the acquisition of Cmate SA, Blaze Mobile, and I-Play, Oberon offers technology, content, and distribution for mobile devices.

  • December 2005 - Oberon acquires Cmate SA, a provider of provider of mobile games and technologies. [1]
  • June 2006 - Oberon secures financing from Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Oak Investment Partners and existing investors to support future growth and acquisitions. [2]
  • November 2006 - Oberon acquires Blaze, a provider of mobile games and technologies with offices in Stockholm, Sweden, and San Mateo, California. [3]
