Description

Jewel Quest II continues the story of Professor Pack as he travels to Africa on his quest to master the jewel board. Similar to the prequel Jewel Quest, core game play involves swapping colored "relics" on a grid to create vertical or horizontal sets of three or more like objects. When a grouping is created, the board space under each relic turns gold, the relics disappear, and new relics fall from above to fill the empty grid squares. The more relics that are matched simultaneously, the more points scored per relic. Chain reactions and each space that turns to gold are also worth additional points. As the game progresses, players encounter relics with characteristics that add a greater level of challenge, and gold coins that earn a power-up. Completing each level reveals another piece of the narrative story. The overall goal is to complete all 180 puzzles and progress through five levels of mastery.

Jewel Quest 2 also adds a Tournament mode that allows players to compete head-to-head with other players over the Internet.
