History

INTENIUM GmbH was founded in Hamburg, Germany in 2000, for the purpose of providing media and IT branch companies with high-quality, but economical solutions to their multimedia project needs. Our highly trained IT specialists have produced multimedia applications for renowned customers such as EXPO 2000, Kraft Foods, MTV Europe, Deutsche Welle, Ferrero, Harald-Schmidt-Show. INTENIUM’s expertise and understanding of the software market allow it to provide custom tailored applications on the cutting edge of today’s technological standard.

Soon after its founding, the development of advertising games, e. g. for Stella Entertainment, the political party CDU and Phenomedia became an important focus of our business. INTENIUM took the step from mere production towards distribution of pay games, thus providing the company with completely new business possibilities. The combination of our technological competence and “know how” in production with our extensive market knowledge, represents one of the most important success factors to date.

Today, INTENIUM has at its disposal a broad on-line and off-line distribution network in Europe and the USA, as well as its own production studio, whose products are successfully distributed world-wide. The distribution network comprises our own national and international games portals, important internationally-active partner portals as well as commercial transactions. Since 2006, INTENIUM’s own CDs are carried by all leading retailers.
