Diner Dash 2: Restaurant Rescue is the second installment to the popular Diner Dash series preceded by Diner Dash and followed by Diner Dash: Flo On The Go. It was developed and published by Playfirst. Diner Dash 2: Restaurant Rescue has a narrative storyline with game play focused on completing a series of tasks to serve customers and earn restaurant upgrades while progressing through levels.

Description
In Diner Dash 2: Restaurant Rescue, Flo returns to help her friends when Mr. Big is threatening to demolish their restaurants to build a mall. Flo volunteers to help raise funds so her friends can stay in business.
The gameplay is similar to the original Diner Dash with a few new twists. Players must manage a stream of new customer types and deal with new obstacles on the restaurant floor. As players help Flo progress in the game, they can personalize the decor of each restaurant and earn power-ups that make Flo's job easier.
Background & History
Diner Dash 2: Restaurant Rescue was originally released March 28, 2006 as a downloadable PC game for Windows and Mac. Although the first Diner Dash game was developed by GameLab, this sequel was developed by PlayFirst. Through a partnership between PlayFirst and Brighter Child, a retail version was released October 2006.[1]
