Description

In Cake Mania the player runs a series of cake shops, each level requiring her to earn a certain amount of cash by serving your cakes to customers. Each of the game's numerous levels follows the same formula: At the start of the game, the player's avatar enters the shop, and customers start to walk in, presenting an order of a specific cake. This cake must be prepared by baking one of four differently shaped cakes, covering them in one of four coloured frostings, and occasionally adding a decoration. Once an order is complete, it must be handed out to the customer, who will pay and give a tip depending on the time he had to wait for his order. After closing time the earned cash is accounted for, and if the level's goal was reached or exeeded, the level is won. After each level the player can buy new equipment for the shop, or upgrade existing objects: Additional/speedier ovens, additional/speedier frosting machines, more expensive decorations and other objects. The difficulty of the game results from different types of customers- some patient but low on money for tips, some very short tempered. Earning bigger sums of money requires some careful planning and a good memory.
